Zoë Elizabeth Getrost PsyD Student (2028)
Zoë Getrost is a 2nd year Clinical Psychology PsyD student at Northern Arizona University (NAU) . She is:
- A graduate from Grand Canyon University with double degrees in Psychology (BS), dance (BA), honors college, and theatre minor (summa cum laude)
- Pursuing her PsyD for her ultimate goal of becoming licensed and creating a private practice.
- In early stage of her dissertation (clinical research project) on motivational climate effects on mental health constructs for collegiate dance majors.
- Fascinated by the intersections between psychology and performing arts (specifically dance), marriage intervention effectiveness, female menstrual/hormone cycle correlations with mood, the interactions of faith and mental health, and holistic psychology integrations.
- Passionate about creating positive, evidence-based, change for individuals to move towards their full well-being and potential through psychology.
